Commentary on another series of pictures
In my captions this time I will make an exception and I won´t use the existential and surreal word experiment, where I freely put expressions like feelings into the electronic translator´s dialogue box and that way create a current of vague meanings, different from the intended, which spurt from a common source and a conversation between me and the computer while creating a new, often quite tenuous language.
As time goes by, I frequently contemplate my meeting with an exceptional woman and artist, and I sometimes project patterns and tangles of colours on a screen in the magical theatre of dance, image and sound and I allow this magical feeling to effect me in my inner world.
I feel like a component of fractal graphics where the impulse generates new chains of colours, clusters and abstract patterns of different shapes. The numerous new worlds that are thus being created are filled with a blend of emotions, a gurgle of water, a wisp of wind, a nearly forgotten early evening, a gush of scent. I walk in my everyday life and the remembrance makes me stop for a spell...in the street, at work, on the tram, on the underground, in the late afternoon while walking back from work. And suddenly I picture the painting, a swift movement of the brush, paint and I blissfully take it all in with my heart and my sight. The word recycling pops up, yes, recycling, an inner purgatory aimed at the essence, at playfulness, fulfilment and a linking with the process where one paints pictures in his everyday life to please himself. The ungraspable places of meditation, the moment of resting in an oasis in the wasteland of one´s life.
Oh yes, I would like to offer what even now is gushing out of the depths of forgetfulness. I feel an urge to reveal it, grasp it, process it, hang it and use this meeting with real art and the woman artist and muse of extraordinary qualities, who makes art because she wants to.
Yes, my next series will be about recycling in respect to the inner shudder so necessary to life and my work.
